Is this a job or employment?
No. This is independent contractor work through the Arise platform. You are not an employee of Uncommon Operations or Arise.
How do I get paid?
You are paid every two weeks based on the client program you select and the number of hours you work. Payments are processed through the Arise platform according to their schedule.
How much can I earn?
Earnings vary by program, but most opportunities range between:
$10–$18 per hour
Your total earnings depend on the number of hours you choose to work.
Are hours guaranteed?
No. This is not a traditional job with guaranteed hours. Work availability depends on the client program and scheduling demand.
Getting Started
What happens after I register?
After you register for more information:
You’ll receive an invite with instructions to sign up with the Arise platform from hq@uncommonoperations.com
You’ll complete onboarding and system setup
You’ll gain access to available client programs
You’ll select a program and begin certification
How long does it take to get started?
It depends on the program you choose and how quickly you complete onboarding and certification. Most contractors can begin within a few weeks.
Do I need experience in customer service?
Not always. Some programs prefer experience, but many provide training during certification.
Are there any deductions when you work with Uncommon Operations, similar to other gig work platforms?
We use a simple, flat administrative fee structure of $30 per pay period.
This approach is designed to be straightforward and predictable, so you keep more of what you earn as your hours increase.
We also provide full transparency every two weeks. You’ll be able to see exactly how your payments are calculated and verify everything directly against the Arise invoice.
***It is important to note that Arise has a additional 5% platform fee for all invoiced earnings for the use of their infrastructure and platform opportunities.

What do I need to work from home?
You’ll need:
A computer that meets system requirements
Wired USB headset, and wired mouse and keyboard
Some client opportunities require dual monitors or a land/voip phone line.
Reliable high-speed internet

Some client programs may require a background check or certification-related costs. These vary by program and are handled through the Arise platform.

Can I choose my own schedule?

Can I work full-time?
Yes, depending on program availability. Many contractors build consistent schedules by securing regular hours.
Can I work multiple programs?
In some cases, yes. This depends on Arise policies and your ability to meet the requirements for each program.
